PlatformIO IDE not in marketplace

I installed visual studio today, opened manage extensions, but when I search for “platformio ide” it is not found. Am I missing something obvious?

Is your question the same as in previously asked and answered questions like:

• Can't install Platform IO in a newly install VSCode
• PlatformIO Extension Not Available in VSCode
• Works on VS Code, does not show up on VSCodium

Thanks for replying. It was a mistake by me of course … I was using visual studio Blend not VS Code. I am not sure what the difference is? I had been using VS 2012 (constantly upgrading) till now.

Well as I read it VS Blend is made for designing user interface and outputs XAML design files. VSCode is it’s own little thing and the recommended way to use PlatformIO. But we also have Visual Studio support.
