Can't enter text PIO Home Search fields

I’m using platformio in visual studio code on Linux.
attempt to use the search
In the PIO Home tab on any of the categories ( Libraries, Boards, Platforms) if I use search, I can’t type in the search text field.

Edit: it works the first time I type, after that I get nothing when I click in the box and type.

Have got some install wrong?

No, it’s a known issue in VSCode that we’re waiting on the Microsoft team to fix. Basically it means you opened PIO home, and then clicked on some other element of VSCode, meaning PIO Home lost keyboard focus. Short term workaround is to double click on the PIO Home tab, and then it’ll have keyboard focus again.

VSCode 1.40.2 has been released, which includes the necessary fix. No more double click of the tab to regain keyboard focus needed! :slight_smile:
