Which board to pick for DUBEUYEW ESP32U

Hi

I recently bought https://www.amazon.de/dp/B0F65KPWYR and I have no idea what board to pick when creating a new project in PlatformIO.

The absence of my board made me somewhat uneasy/suspicious to the reputation of the DUBEUYEW brand - any thoughts ?

It’s just a ESP32-WROOM-32 with uFL connector. So the regular board = esp32dev (doc) should match it exactly.

Thank you - unfortunate the received ESP has different text in the metal plate than the picture on Amazon, mine reads

ESP-32U
CE WIFI-BT-BLE MAC
FCCID:2BB77-ESP32-32X
ISM 2.4G 802.11b/g/n
and a QR code I cannot decode

Does that change anything ?

Still seems like a ESP32 WROOM 32 to me, so try esp32dev.

You can use websites like https://espressif.github.io/esptool-js in Chrome or Edge to check the amount of FLASH your ESP32 has. For example, my regular ESP32 dev board shows up as 4 MByte detected Flash, which again matches esp32dev.
