Visual Studio Code PlatformIO IDE Debugger for ESP32 "Peripherals" Tab Show No Information

Hi everyone,

I am using the PlatformIO IDE debugger in Visual Studios Code and my target hardware is the ESP32. I am using the ESP-PROG as my JTAGG Debugger. I am able to debug my code using it, but I am having an issue with the Peripheral tab showing No information when I am in Debug mode. All the other tabs do show information and it is just the Peripheral tab that doesn’t. I would appreciate it if any of you all are able to help me with this problem!

Espressif does not provide an official .svd file which would provide the peripheral register information.

This was already discussed in CLion Debugging - #2 by maxgerhardt, which contains some community-made workarounds.
