When I first registered for an account, I mistyped my email address so I never received the verification email. When I tried to register again with the correct email address, I was told that the username I wanted was already taken (by my first registration attempt). Will the “account” created by my first registration attempt ever automatically go away after the email address remains unverified for long enough, so I can switch my username to the one I wanted?
What is your original username? We will remove the previous account and rename your existing one.
