Platformio still in memory after closing code

Have a good day,

when i close vs code editor platformio platformio still remain in memory.
Is this an intended behaviour?

This is an issue with VSCode, it does not deactivate our extension on exit. As I workaround, PIO Home Server (platformio process) will die after 1 hour in the next update of our extension.
