Platformio Installation

Hello guys, first of all nice job on this awesome project.
I’ve just started with this IDE and I’m having trouble with the installation.
OS:
Distributor ID: Ubuntu
Description: Ubuntu 16.04.1 LTS
Release: 16.04
Codename: xenial

After the installation I get:
UnknownError: Internal error opening backing store for indexedDB.open.
OpenFailedError: UnknownError Internal error opening backing store for indexedDB.open.

Every time I restart Atom I get the PlatformIO IDE: Installing dialog box and then Reload now/Reload later dialog and then the above mentioned errors.
I’ve tried:
Install plaformIO from the .deb package from here
Install Atom and then install platformio from packages section in Atom (same result)
Between installations I’ve erased ~/.atom, /usr/share/atom

Any suggestions?

This worked for me.

I had atom installed before and the ~/.config/Atom folder was owned by root…

I have no ideea how I missed that post/bug.
