Platformio.ini opens when project opens

platformio.ini always opens when my project opens in vscode, which is very annoying. Is there anything I can do about this?

I just noticed that a dialog opens up saying “Project Has Been Updated” or something like that. So I guess the problem is that it is updating every time I open it.
