We’re happy to announce the next release of PlatformIO IDE for VSCode 1.10.0!

What is new

  • Minimal requirements for PlatformIO Core is >=4.1.0
  • Added PIO Check project task
  • Added “Inspect” and “Projects & Configuration” items to “Activity Bar > PlatformIO > Quick Access > PIO Home” (issue #1302)
  • Automatically shutdown PIO Home server after 1-hour inactivity
  • Ignore PIO Home from Proxy using NO_PROXY environment variable
  • PlatformIO Core Installer:
    • Updated default Python installer to 3.7.5
    • Check Python’s “urllib” SSL module
    • Skip Python from msys, mingw, emacs installations (issue #1353)

Please open “VSCode > View > Extensions” and click on “Update” button.

Seems to be working fine for me on Windoze 10 w/ VSCode 1.40.1.
