Platform IO Home stuck loading

Hello,

I freshly installed the latest Atom + PlatformIO on both my OSX and windows 10. On both of them the home screen of platformIO is always loading. I have seen a couple post about this issue from ~3 weeks ago, and said it was fixed. Am I forgetting something or doing something wrong? Is there is fix for this?

Could you remove %HOME_DIR%/.platformio/penv and restart IDE?

How to remove
%HOME_DIR%/.platformio/penv
on windows 8?

On Windows, it’s %userprofile%\.platformio\penv … just type/copy %userprofile%\.platformio into the Windows Explorer address bar, and then delete the penv folder.

Hey, had same problem after updating visual studio code to 1.41.1 with pio extension installed earlier.
removing %userprofile%/.platformio/penv and restart of IDE helped. By the way, the result was a reinstall of pio core.
