OK, anybody have a solution for this one?
I know the ICE and cable work, they work on an old machine. But Windows 11 will not use it (and so PIO can’t even see it).
I downloaded the driver from Microchip (DGLib) and the ICE shows up in device manager. But when I try to update\install the driver, Windows wants no part of it. Just says it can’t do it.
I know it’s not a PIO issue, but just wondering if anybody else has a solution to this.
This may be the issue that finally forces me to move to Linux or a dual boot setup. It gave me a really hard time just installing VS code, said I didn’t have permission. Really? MY computer, which I am the administrator… I know MS is trying to be “helpful”, but dang it, let me do what I want to do! Sorry…
