No Device Found - MKR WiFi 1010

I hope you are all doing well today.

I am currently having an issue with platformio/vscode detecting the Arduino MKR that I have connected to my laptop. I have never had an issue before and do not know where to start. I have installed and updated the drivers for the USB port but that is as far as my expertise has taken me besides the typical google search which has not been all too helpful. If anyone can assist, this would be helpful.

I read on another Platformio forum post that you do not need to install drivers for the Arduino when running platformio, but I still did since my device manager showed it as an unknown device.

However, I believe that my main issue was that I was using a serial “sniffer” at the same time. So after installing drivers for both the Arduino Nano MKR WiFi 1010 and the serial “sniffer” the device was now able to be found.
