I’ve been working with Tony (jl-codes) on developing v2 of the platformio-mcp server which he launched yesterday. if you are using some of the coding agents this makes a huge difference in how the agent runs platformio, ensuring that it knows how to get the most out of PlatformIO, and also making sure that you are efficient in your use of tokens and preserving your context windows.
It has a great web dashboard (styled to match pio home) so you can see all the agent operations, watch the build process, monitor the serial logs, manage multiple devices, review the historical logs etc.
