Issues installing the PlatformIO extension on vscodium (wayland system)

So I’m on wayland on Arch linux and whenever I try to click the little alien icon, I get a side bar that has the words “Initializing PlatformIO Core…” and it not doing anything even after a long time. Now when I tried hovering over the extension banner, I see a runtime error. Now when I tried looking at the error it was this:

Are there any fixes for this issue? Or is this a wayland thing as I have used PlatformIO with vscodium on an XORG based system and it worked with no issues.

Probably it does not work since the Microsoft Intellisense extension is not available. The extension is closed source. You can try pioarduino extension instead. This extension does not have the dependency to the MS extension. You can install clangd for Intelisense

It seems that I may have to switch to using the proprietary visual studio editor, thank you for the help!
