LittleFS uploading is already implemented in espressif8266 platform. Once Arduino-ESP32 approves your PR and LittleFS becomes standard in Arduino-ESP32, I’m sure our developers will follow with their update to use LittleFS after the next release. Right now your pull-request is still open.

I’am very excited about LittleFS.
Currently there is a plugin for Arduino IDE to upload LittleFS filesystem.
I hope i can finally use my 16mb esp32 with that fs.
