How to downgrade Platformio?

Hi guys,

First of all I want to thank you for the platformio project.

I would love to know how to downgrade platformio as recently it stoped working another extension (thinger.io extension), and it drops a message that it cant find the platformio build task, I guess something changed in last version regarding this

Does downgrading work for you? Could you share with us which version does not work for you and which works?

Yes, downgrading worked for me, I currently have 2.5.5 version, the version that did not work is the 3.0.0
