How to add a development board family that can be searched directly in PlatformIO

Hello everyone, we are some development board enthusiasts. We have made a series of development boards and want to access the popular platform PlatformIO.I checked the PlatformIO repositories and learnt that the boards that can be searched for directly on PlatformIO are currently available as individual repositories on PlatformIO’s Github. Just like the ESP32. So does this mean that if you want to be directly searchable, you need PlatformIO’s business co-operation support? Is there an alternative for individual developers, thanks for any advice and help.

@valeros I’m sorry to bother you, can you help me see what I should do? Thank you for your reply.

Hi @limengdu0117, thanks for reaching out.

It depends, I’d recommend writing an email to contact@piolabs.com with detailed information about the hardware you would like to add to the PlatformIO ecosystem. There is a chance that your boards can be added as an open source contribution if used SoC/MCU is already supported.
