New and this forum, and very happy to start the transition from IDE 2.3.x to Platform IO!
I work with this 4809 in the 40 pin format
I burned the bootloader using UART1.
When I work in IDE 2.3 I use this settings:
Clock: internal 16MHz,
Pinout: 40 Pin standard,
Bootloader: Optiboot UART1 default pins,
Board: ATmega4809,
EEprom: EEprom retained.
How to find equivalent settings to complete this env:
[env:ATmega4809]
platform = atmelmegaavr
board = ATmega4809
framework = arduino
