Downloads from Australia very slow, website load is slow too

Hi There, getting very slow load times for packages. This is via the esphome cli. The site is not loading very well either in chrome.

I now understand theres a couple of undersea fibre cables between AU and singapore/middle east currently out of action. I guess I was hoping there would be a mirror somewhere locally?

It looks like you have an incomplete Python interpreter installed on your machine. What is your OS?

Yes it seemed that was the issue, I had an old version of python 3.11.9 aliased. Fixed and now running very quickly with python 3.12.3

BTW on Mac 14.4.1
