Started on atmega328, but ran out of power after implementing even the slightest amount of digital signal processing. Those things just weren't made for real time arithmetics. That's why I turned to PlatformIO and the Nucleo F411RE, hoping to get away with less analog circuitry and a lot more digital sound processing.
Oh yeah, I do have a day job to pay for all of this: I'm an IT administrator at a university, responsible for Active Directory and all the other windowsy stuff, which finally made me use exclusively linux (ubuntu 16.04) and (almost exclusively) free software for fun.
