Retired system software engineer (20+ years), technical educator (~10 years), and academic (~10 years). Most of my engineering experience was in Silicon Valley in the SF Bay Area & the Route 128 area of Boston back in the 70’s through 90’s. Founded one and was early-involved in two technology start-ups, all of which were profitably sold (utility software, technical consulting, and internet search engine). Academic work was earning a PhD and then working with in-service and pre-service teachers in technology education. Am now getting into microcontrollers developing personally relevant medical instrumentation.
