@cfbosch, did you find a solution to loop exiting and resulting in a halt? I haven’t been able to make progress in my setup (Arduino Matter board).
Halas, I’m not trying to repair that, because I think it’s a board configuration in Platformio that’s not ironed out completely yet, and I can’t invest time into getting a platform up and running. I just moved over to implementing that project on another board I have lying around (LilyGo T-Zigbee works on Platformio). I had to move on to other projects.
I really do wish the Matter board worked in Platformio though, especially if one could start playing with Matter and create a mesh with them. O got three boards so I could make a gateway and a mesh of two, but since you can’t even do it with SI Labs software because it’s just too awful to work with, I don’t have much hope for these boards anymore.
