the segger software in platformio is normal 5 to 6 md behind
is there a way to install the newest “7.88k” at the moment
if i move the file local they will just be replaced by the old one
Done! Please run pio pkg update in the project folder or use GUI in PlatformIO IDE for VSCode.

is there not a way to use the already installed newest on my pc 
It’s explicitly PlatformIO’s philosophy to use dynamically downloadable PlatformIO packages for every files and to not rely on tools installed on the host computer-
