Im wanting to upgrade my account but I cant find any information that the PIO Unified Debugger works on the NodeMCU boards. Is there something that I might have missed?

Sorry, we don’t support debugging for ESP8266.
Is anyone working on the ESP8266 PIO UD? If not, is there documentation on how to build one? What is the learning curve? I would like to at least investigate the feasibility of hacking one together. I would then decide if it would take me less time to do that than debug my current projects without one…
There is hardware issue with ESP8266 and there is no open source debugger for it
