Memory usage inconsistency

looks like an excessive memory (RAM) usage.

digging into “unknown” section reveals the following:

and the question is :
how 277.9 KB of RAM becomes 72.3 KB of RAM (on the second screenshot)?
and more importantly - where do i go to understand the RAM usage?
