Is there any support for yotta / Mbed OS

I am hoping to develop mbed OS applications with Visual Studio. Does platformio support this, or are there any plans too?

Is yotta required for developing applications with mbed OS?
Here is an example with this OS in our repo.

I believe it is. The example you linked doesn’t seem to be an Mbed OS application. Yotta is the CLI Build tool for the new Mbed OS applications.
