Howto - adding a board to an existing project

Hi there,

I openened an existing project as a folder in atom which is integrated in platformio as being described on your homepage.
The folder contains the whole project.
How can I add a board to this project?

PlatformIO IDE > PIO Home > New Project, please select new board and select the same project

And where can I find this with the ATOM plugin PlatfromIO
