How to avoid having to click Restart Task after each board reset?

When I click on the Serial Monitor icon, for example, to reestablish the USB/Serial connection after a board reset, I get that popup with the Terminate/Restart task and I always click Restart Task.

Is there a way to set platformio to always restart the monitor task without requiring an additional click?

Close the previous serial monitor instance with a Ctrl+C. I don’t know of any other way.
