Blank Area Right Hand Side of IDE

What is this large blank area on the right-hand side of the IDE taking up space and how do I get rid of it, please?

Did you install custom packages? Do you use the latest Atom 1.3.1? Install it from http://atom.io

I’ve updated Atom and it is still there.
